Grand Rapids Riverfest

The Grand Rapids Riverfest was born out of the former KAXE 91.7 Mississippi Riverfest, a grassroots celebration of the new station along the banks of the Mississippi River in Grand Rapids, MN. The original festival garnered loyal fans over a 15-year period. Now transformed, the Grand Rapids Riverfest is simply the best party in Grand Rapids. Through a fabulous lineup with music that truly matters to the spirit, the festival also incorporates local restaurants and breweries, giving you a literal taste of life in GR.

Volunteers are integral to a successful festival and are a valued part of our event team. Roles range from admission gate and ground monitors to setup and takedown.

Aside from being an integral part of an incredible event, meeting lots of people, making new friends, and creating life-long memories, we also offer the following rewards:

The best part is that volunteers will be able to self-schedule, choosing their shifts and assignments based on skillset and availability. Volunteer opportunities may be added and updated in the lead-up to the festival.

Our highest priority is your health and safety. Grand Rapids Riverfest will keep tabs on all guidelines set by City & State authorities on health and pandemic protocols. We will be watching the updates closely and will publish any updates on the festival website as we get closer to the event.
