Soup on the Street: Warming Hearts and Raising Awareness

Community members are invited to come together for Soup on the Street, an event that shines a light on homelessness and hunger while celebrating compassion and connection. The gathering will take place at Old Central School on Wednesday, November 19th from 3-5PM.

There are many ways to get involved. You can make and share a crock pot of soup, take part in the awareness by standing along the sidewalk, or donate winter gear such as hats, mittens, and scarves. Each contribution, whether large or small, helps warm hearts and remind others that they are not alone.

Organizers hope this family friendly event will not only serve up a hearty meal but also inspire the community to take steps toward understanding and addressing the challenges of homelessness. Together, we can make a difference—one bowl of soup, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.
