Grand Itasca Volunteer Services volunteer

Grand Itasca Volunteer Services is seeking community orientated individuals to assist Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital with dedicated volunteers throughout the facility. Assistance can be found in one of the following services areas including helping patients and staff find a special gift in our volunteer run Gift Shop, serving coffee and cookies at our lobby Coffee Bar, informing and assisting patients to their appointments at our front Information Desk, and escorting patients to their scheduled surgery appointments in Day Surgery. Volunteers can also be found making tie blankets for the pediatric patients staying in the Hospital, knitting hats for infants born at Grand Itasca, stuffing envelopes and busy work, and assisting our Physical Therapy Department with cleaning toys and equipment used after each pediatric appointment. There are many opportunities to be found through becoming a GIVS volunteer, but the perks are something to brag about. Our volunteers can take advantage of the discounts provided through out Gift Shop and pharmacy, recieve a free lunch during your shift, and are even included in the hospital holiday gift every year.
