Build with Habitat: Roofing
We need help roofing our partner family's home! Work may include setting trusses, sheathing, and/or felting. This opportunity requires working high off the ground, so volunteers should be comfortable with working at height. Roofing experience is not necessary, but it is helpful to have some experience working a ladder. Volunteers on Habitat construction sites must be 18 years or older.
What to wear: Closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
What to bring:
- Bag lunch
- Rain gear
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle (optional)
Volunteers must follow all safety guidelines set forth by the Construction Site Manager.
