Host a Health & Hygiene Dropbox

Each spring, United Way of 1000 Lakes hosts an annual Health and Hygiene Drive to collect essential toiletries and other small items to help children and adults with basic needs. With the economic impact of COVID-19, even more people are finding that they need to make tough choices – between buying laundry detergent and having food for breakfast, or between filling the car up with gas and buying a pair of shoes. Necessities provided through our personal care drive can help relieve some of the burden. Help support the Health & Hygiene Drive by hosting a donation dropbox! Collect donations at your workplace, church, or even your home. When you've collected your items, deliver them to United Way (or have us pick them up) and we'll distribute them to families and individuals in need through our programs and nonprofit partners.

If you'd like to collect donations, let us know by expressing interest below! We'll set you up with a toolkit, a donation box if you need one, and help community members find your dropbox.
