Event Planning Volunteer

The event planning volunteer’s role is to assist the Marketing and Public Relations Committee with planning United Way events, such as our Lumberjack Breakfast, Campaign Celebration, and Day of Action. Volunteers will assist with volunteer recruitment and management, external communications, event day logistics, post-event communication and evaluation, compiling event materials, and other event-related activities. They may help develop and solicit in-kind donations. This role may include cold-calling, lead follow-up, tracking, contract management, and recognition and attendance at sponsored events. This volunteer will assist in writing communication pieces including letters, newsletters, web content, invitations, data tracking, and reports.
